2 Year Milestone

I forgot to give a follow up on my visit to Dr. Healey! He said he “couldn’t be more pleased” with my recovery. My lung and leg scans all look great and he congratulated me for passing the two-year mark—an “important milestone” in my recovery. YAY!

He said I still need to be careful, as he would consider me susceptible to fracture for about another year as the blood supply continues to return to my femur. So no jumping for Sara.

It was also fun to visit my PA and NY friends. Matt and Tim and I basically spent our day and a half together in Brooklyn eating and talking and eating some more. Perfect. A big topic of conversation was building on Megan’s and my hopes for a Teleporter (see image) to be developed quickly so we could share Team Brunches and Wine Salons whenever we want without having to fly across the country. C’mon scientists! Stop working on LCD screens and get to the TELEPORTER already. We’re WAITING.

Yea, jeesh! Would they get on this teleporter thing already. There is enough money going towards the sick and poverty-stricken. We've got that handled. I need instant access to friends and American food!
