As a follow-up to my last post about the pilot we shot, Brian tells me they have a picture of me making kind of a possessed face on the It's Just Brunch homepage...
The quote they put next to my name--while curiously accurate--was not actually mine.
Good news is, Brian got called to film more stuff for them tomorrow! Yay!
Yay to you both--creative geniuses in your own rights. That It's Just Brunch site is hilarious. Did you see this at the bottom: "Site design by the Topeville Vocational-Technical High School Computer Science Club. GO BADGERS!" Awesome.
In May of 2005 I was diagnosed with a chondrosarcoma of the left femur. I saw six of the top doctors in the field in six months and not one agreed with another on what I should do. It was up to me to decide. Instead of deciding I wrote a one woman show about it called Bone-a-fide: A Tumorous Comedy. That helped.
On December 15, 2005, Dr. Healey at MSKCC performed a resect/reimplant with cryosurgery. I've been healing well since then. (Though, I still wish I had gone with the bionic leg option.)
